‘Sup people! I do apologize for the great lack of updates. The past couple of months have been, well let’s just say, CRAZY! Anyhow, I will try my hardest to keep this thing updated as much as I can. But as the image above implies, this isn’t about all the things that have gone on this summer..
Thats right! It’s that dreaded time of year when we ALL have to get up a 6 a.m, sit through 8 hours of boring and completly pointless classes and listen to some random person talk, and by the end of the day, and if all the homework we got that day was money, we’d have enough to pay the national debt. Yeeeah, I’m talking about school. 
But no worries, we’re here to make the stupidity of the back to school season a little more FUN! (Yes I said fun..)
On Staurday, August 13th, our youth group (Generation Church or GC for short..) is having a Back to School bash. (Why it’s actually called a bash, I don’t know.) This event will be from 5pm to 10pm and will consist of all sorts of fun activities that have absolutely nothing to do with school AT ALL. (Cookout, volleyball, contests, prizes, bonfires, etc….) Now, I’m sure your asking “What do I need to do/bring?” Well, to answer that question. Nothing. All we want you to do is invite a friend. (And if you could bring some people with you, that would be legit.) Best part, IT’S A FREE EVENT! So now we’re not robbing you of your stash of cash for your monthly energy drink purchases… You people know who you are…… 
Anyway, come on out! We’d LOVE to have you come and hang out with us for a bit. It’ll be a TON OF FUN! (I can promise you that much.) And it’s also been rumored that we might be trying to get some Roman Candles, sparklers and stuff like that… hehe
Sooooo, I guess thats all for now. But in other news, there are some exciting NEW things that I’ll be telling you about in the next couple of months. (Other youth events, a new Bible study that we’re going to start, our youth conference, etc….)
