Fireworks
GC, we are meeting at Rick and Beth’s house on Saturday the 19th for a cookout and then to see the Fireworks at Fun Fest in Kingsport. Be there around 6. We’ll eat, hang out, and then leave for the show around 8:30. We should be back by 11:00.

GC Fellowship
Hey all,
We had a blast Sunday afternoon! Our gc fellowship services are open to everyone age 12-24. We will be meeting after the second service every Sunday to hang out, get wet, have fun, and connect with the group.
Last Sunday we attached 7 slip-and-slides and one black tarp (that reached temperatures of molten lava), covered it with industrial soup and almost broke our necks when we reached the velocity of mach 4. It was great!
We’ve got a lot of ideas for events in the coming weeks. Bring $5 for lunch or just pack one, a change of clothes, and a friend or two. This is a great way to introduce them to our group.
The schedule goes like this: We usually eat as soon as the main service is over, have a short devotional, fellowship and act crazy for about 2 hours, meet back up for discipleship and small groups, clean up and then pass out. The entire process lasts until about 5:00-5:30.
Since campers are leaving this Sunday we will be having fellowship at Rick and Beth’s on Saturday at 6:00. We’ll cook out and then go to the fireworks at Funfest in Kingsport.

It is about 7 in the morning and everyone is out! We had a long day yesterday…The only reason I am up is because Aaliyah barfed in her bed and wanted to sleep with mommy. So, I got the boot… I just read something this morning that I want to share with you…
In 1 Samuel 15:24 Saul looks at Samuel and says “I have sinned because I have feared the people and obeyed their voice”. I have seen so many young people follow this same pattern. My prayer for you today is that you ignore the voice of wicked men and follow the voice of the LORD!
This week Bro. Rick Keller will be ministering and I know he has a word for you guys! Also, one of the youth leaders…Bro. Dustin Dugger will be ministering in the main service, so pray for these guys this week. I know God is going to do great things!
